Hello Madam and thank you for
granting us this interview. Can
you introduce yourself to our
readers who are discovering you?
My name is
Kalista Samuel, I am of Nigerian
nationality and current coach of
the women's team of Tigresses FC
of Cotonou
You are the coach of
Tigresses FC and the president
Charles Bewa has entrusted you
with the reins of this team.
Tell us, what is the objective
assigned to you for this
2024-2025 season?
The
objective assigned to me for the
season is to maintain the team
in the second division.
"Appetite comes with eating"
says a well-known adage. We note
that currently after nine days
played in the Women's
Championship Second Division
(Group A), your team occupies
2nd place in the competition
with 19 points (GD: +12. Can we
say that the objective may
possibly change, with now the
rise to the "Women's 1st
Division"?
The
objective will certainly change.
Because personally, I would like
to qualify the team for the
first division.

Your mission at the
head of Tigresses FC is certainly not without
its difficulties. Can you shed some light on
some of the difficulties you have faced?
Yes, I have
faced some difficulties related to the
discipline and commitment of some of the players
in my team. But I have been able to deal with
them and now, things are going well
Which area of
your club Tigresses FC do you see weaknesses
in? How do you plan to correct these
difficulties?
I am
willing to believe that this question should be
asked at the end of the season. Exposing our
weaknesses would be unprofessional.
You have
certainly faced difficulties during this first
phase of the championship? Can you shed some
light on some of them?
Whatever
the difficulties, they must be an internal
matter and must not be discussed publicly.
Soon, your
players will return to the stadiums for the
return phase. What will be your message Coach
Kalista to your players?
I would
like to invite my players to stay focused and
try to improve their performances from the first
leg.
